Yes, sort of literary. What do you need to know? I hope I'll be able to answer.
The Intentional Fallacy was coined by critics around the mid-20th century. Basically, it means that it's a flawed way of interpreting a text based on what the author intended. Because who cares? Once the text is out of the author's hands, it belongs to the reader. Or something like that.
